Tailored Inorganic-Organic Nanoreactors as Catalysts for Continuous Carbohydrate Processing

       第二届国际生物质催化炼制大会(CATBIOR 2013)——This talk has three conclusions:Ⅰ.Co-condensed sulfonic acid active sites in ordered mesoporous silica are not sufficiently robust. The hydrophilic catalysts deactivate over the course of several days in a flow reactor, due to loss of functional groups and loss of mesoporosity. Ⅱ.Hybrid inorganic-organic acid catalysts synthesized with SBA-15-type mesostructures are as active and significantly more stable under reaction conditions. Ⅲ.Polar aprotic polymers confined in the mesopores are effective reaction promoters and increase stability still further without major lass of activity.
