Spatial variations in paleowind direction during the last glacial period in North China reconstructed from variations in the anisotropy of magnetic su

       The Eighth International Conference on Aeolian Research(ICAR VIII)——Magnetic lineations are clustered along similar orientations in the same region regardless of differences in slop exposure and angle,suggesting that air circulation rather than the surface water flow determines the direction of alignment of the magnetic mineral particles and thus confirms the ability of AMS to record the palewind direction.
